Can I buy media through MyLongLunch?
No you can’t. MLL encourages agency / media communication and doesn’t see the point in adding another stage to the purchasing cycle. MLL is a prompt service and not an online auction site.

What do the headings of the column mean?
Publication: The name of the site, station, channel or publication of the media.
Date: The date of publication.
Format: The format in which the advert will appear.
Industry: The specific industry the listing applies to.
Booking deadline: If you don’t know this you should consider a different career.

Why can’t I see the Publication or the full listing?
If you are registered as a media you may only view your own listings. You must be registered as an agency to view these in full detail, although be aware we carefully vet who we give this access to.

I am registered as an agency but I still can’t see the full listing?
Your account needs to be verified manually by our customer support department which could take up to 24 hours.

I have received an email to say my account has been verified and I still can’t see the listing in full?
Something’s wrong. Please let us know if this happens.

I forgot my anniversary and my wife kicked me out. What would you suggest?
That’s not really our bag. Roses?

I am a media and I wish to place listings on MyLongLunch. How do I get started?

Why is the site called MyLongLunch when it has nothing to do with food?
Because Google was taken.

How do I update the details MyLongLunch holds about me?
To update your details, simply log in and click ‘My Account’ on the left hand side of your screen. You will then be able to review and amend any details.

Setting Up Email Alerts

Setting up email alerts couldn't be simpler and MyLongLunch's technology allows you to build as many as you like, as tailored as you like.

Step 1)
Once logged in click the advanced search link.

Step 2)
Free Text Options.

• Enter a key(s) word in "with all of the words" and if that word(s) is within the listing posted it will appear in the results. Example: If you have a client interested in retail, then enter 'retail'.
• Enter "exact phrase" in and it will appear in the results. Example: If you have a client interested in clothing retail, enter 'clothing retail'.
• Enter several words in the "with at least one of the words" and if a listing is posted with at least one of those words, it will appear in the results. Example: If you have a client interested in retail, fashion, design and textiles, enter those words and if one of those words is included within a listing it will appear in the search.
• Enter a word you wish the search to filter and it will remove listings with that word. Example: If you have a search saved for the key word "IT" but you don't want to receive anything from The Islington Chronicle, then enter The Islington Chronicle in this field.

Step 3)
Select one or more media formats and the results will appear within the search. Example: If you want to receive alerts about Features, Half Pages or Digital Adverts then tick those box's.

Step 4)
Choose to receive offers with a publication or deadline date of anytime, a specific date or between certain dates. Example, if you have a client that has a lot of activity over Xmas you could select between dates of 1st November and 1st January.

Step 5)
Select a location and coverage of the media. Example: If you wanted to know about offers in Hull, select 'Hull'. By selecting a region, rather than a town, you will receive offers for the town as well. Example: If you only want to receive offers from regional press, select 'Regional' as an option.

Step 6)
Select any number of industries.

Step 7)
Tick the box "MyLongLunch instant email alerts for this search? I'm in." and click 'search' to save that search.

Step 8)
You can now edit, delete and rename that search by going into 'My Account' on the left hand navigation and scrolling to the bottom of the screen.
